Richard is a freelance Composer, Musical Director and Pianist / Keyboard Player. He studied composition at the University of Liverpool with James Wishart.
He has a long association with writer and director Chris Monks.

Richard is currently Chair of the Theatre Section Committee at the Musicians Union.
Richard lives in Leicestershire with his wife Rachel, and two sons, Ernie and Stanley. In addition to his love for music, he is also an avid supporter of Kettering Town Football club, and is currently Vice Chair of the Kettering Town “Poppies” Supporters Trust and highlights editor for POPPIES TV – Kettering Town’s online TV channel.
